Roundcube allows you to configure different parameters of its appearance and operation from the configuration options.
1.-Accessing the configuration options
On the main Roundcube screen, click on the Settings tab in the top right menu.
2.-Edit preferences
From the Preferences option you can change different parameters according to your needs.
The options you can edit are:
User interface: allows you to modify the language in which Roundcube is displayed, the theme it uses or the date and time format.
Mailbox view: here you modify message pagination, receipt confirmation settings and desktop notifications.
Message view: options on how message content is displayed.
Message composition: choose whether to always create HTML messages, enable signature and other options.
Contacts: you can choose how contacts will be displayed and their pagination.
Special folders: from this option you can modify the special folders "SPAM", "Sent", etc.
Server settings: you can enable the trash can to be emptied when logging out, and other options on message deletion.
Calendar: you can select colors and other calendar options.
3.-Edit folders
In the Folders option you can activate or deactivate folders in your account. If you deactivate a folder it is not displayed, but the folder and its contents are still on the server and count towards the account capacity. You can also create new folders by clicking on the + option or delete existing ones by clicking on Delete, inside the "Gear" icon. Special folders are grayed out and cannot be deleted.
4.-Edit identities
The identities allow you to indicate the email address from which the email is sent and the address to which the replies are to be sent. In Roundcube you can create sending identities that you can select when you create a message. From this option you can also configure a different signature for each identity you have created.
If you want to create a new identity you have to click on the + icon at the bottom. To delete an identity, select it and click on the trash can icon. If you want to modify an already created identity, select it, modify the data and click on the Save button.
5.-Create a reply
In Roundcube you can create templates of responses that you can select to reply to emails. To add a new reply click on the + icon, assign it a name, fill in its content and click on Save.
To edit a reply template select it, edit the content and save it by pressing the "Save" button. If you want to delete a template, select it and press the trash can icon.
6.-Filters
To automate the process of sorting our messages you can create a filter.
Roundcube allows you to filter by the content of the "subject", "from", "to" and "cc" fields. Once you have created a filter, when you receive an email that meets the condition you have specified, it will be moved to the folder indicated in the filter.
