To create the signature in RoundCube you must follow these steps:
1.- Activate signature
The first step to configure the signature in RoundCube is to go to "Settings --> Preferences --> Message composition". Here you will find the option "Write messages in HTML" where you must select the option Always, this way whenever you compose an email the signature and the image you have linked will be displayed.
2.- Access the Identity section
Within RoundCube, go to "Settings --> Identities" and select the identity that appears to modify. You can set the name to display, the email to reply to, the signature and other features.
To customize the email signature, type the desired text in the Signature box, as you can see in the following image.
3.- Insert image
RoundCube offers the possibility of attaching images to the signature in a very easy way, always with a maximum size of 64 KB and without the need to enter HTML code. If more than one signature is created, the sum of the size of the images cannot exceed 64 KB.
To add a logo or image to your signature, you must check the HTML box that appears as an image in the text box, the only button there is:
Next, you must click on the Insert / Edit image icon as shown in the following image.
Click on the Source option to open the image selector.
Then use the Add image button to open the image attachment box.
Once you have the image in the "Select image" screen, you must click on the image. Once you have the image in the "Select image" screen, you must click on the image.
When you click on the image, it will be placed in the "Source" section of the "Insert/Edit Image" screen. Here you must indicate the dimensions of the image and click on the Ok option.
Once selected in the previous section it will be inserted in the signature. You can easily move or resize the image by selecting the image and dragging one of the corners. To finish the configuration and save the changes click on Save.
4.- Insert image for HTML
RoundCube offers you the possibility to insert an image to the signature using HTML code. To do this, check the box "Signature in HTML" and in the bar that appears in the signature box select the Source code option.
The HTML code editor opens where we copy the URL (address) corresponding to the logo or image we want to add to our signature. Once the code is copied click Ok.
If we do not have a URL where the image that we want to insert appears, we must previously upload the image by FTP to the hosting and later add the resulting URL.
An example of HTML code is the following:
Once the image is selected, you can easily move or resize it by selecting the image and dragging one of the corners, and finally press Save to save the changes.
